The combination of a magnificent Capri Blue base with charcoal and coral stripes is spectacular. The brilliant blue next to its complementary coral color (a subtle orange) visually delights your eyes, while the charcoal adds a soft contrasting element.

Stripes can be oh-so-fun to work with... and don't just think horizontal and vertical! We saw a flattering criss-cross diagonally striped top with a coordinating, horizontally-striped miniskirt made with this comfortably stretchy fabric. Others choose this material for twinsets, athletic attire, all sorts of baby clothes, and so much more. (How much more, you ask? Well, there's dresses and skirts, pajamas, nursing tops, sexy dresses... is that enough?)

Designer Marylou Marsh loves working with stripes, saying: "I do a combination of two colors of rib knits, where you bring in your dark colors of the stripe and spruce it up with a lighter accent color (in this case Coral Reef Rib Knit). I make a slenderizing top that's great, where I put the accent color wide on the outside and the stripes cut in the middle. Your eye goes to the middle, so you get to wear those horizontal stripes and at the same time get a minimizing effect. It's really a flattering top that is very comfortable and goes great with a capri legging."

At 10.20 ounces per linear yard, this fabric weighs 6.3 ounces per square yard. (There's approximately 100% stretch, which means you can use this material for self-fabric binding/ribbing too.) Knit in the US from American-grown cotton.

This is a limited-edition fabric that you won't want to miss.
